Course Description

The course objectives cover teaching the skills under the following main categories:

To teach the skills under this subject, the course uses a variety of teaching methods to ensure mastery of intended skills, as well as the correct applications of said skills and gained knowledge. The various teaching methods include: engaging video explainers, video lectures, advanced graphics and animation, interactive exercises, gamification, interactive illustration, various assessment styles, and online exams.

The following are highlights of the curriculum content, curriculum chapters, and English language skills covered in the course.

Chapter 1: Phonics Part I

Chapter 2: Phonics Part II

Chapter 3: Phonics – Part III

Chapter 4: Reading – Part I

Learn new vocabulary (verbs to introduce people and give commands, adjectives to describe various objects, nouns related to various categories), Read-along texts about the first day at school, rooms and some common household objects, and family members, Read sentences and match them to pictures correctly

Chapter 5: Reading – Part II

Learn new vocabulary (verbs to give commands, express likes and dislikes, and express ability; nouns related to various categories), Read-along texts about food and eating, musical instruments, the two sisters, and the seasons of the year, Read sentences and match them to pictures correctly.

Chapter 6: Grammar – Part I

Nouns (person, animal, place, or thing), Identify type of nouns, Singular and plural nouns (-s, -es), Singular Pronouns (I, He, She, It), Plural Pronouns (they, we), Identify and Use pronouns, Choose the correct personal pronoun in a sentence.……and many more.

Chapter 7: Grammar – Part II

The verb to be (is, am, are), identify the verb “to be” in a sentence, Use the right verb “to be” in a sentence, question words (what, when, who, where), use 5W, Identify a sentence and question, prepositions (in, on, under, next to), possessive adjectives (my, his, her, its), use the right possessive adjective in a sentence.

Chapter 8: Listening – Part I

Listening and comprehension, Listen to short stories about the farm, feelings, daily routine, and many more, Answer questions about the stories.

Chapter 9: Writing – Part I

Write Uppercase and Lowercase Letters (a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m), Identify and draw images that correspond to letter sounds, Match the uppercase letters to the lowercase letters, Read and spell the words introduced in the no excuse words list (zero, red, has, green, fifteen, when, twenty, on, go, is, not) and many more.
